Welcome to
The Pill Factory

HISTORIC ACCOMMODATION FOR GROUPS

The Pill Factory is a venue / accommodation combo property.

This quirky sandstone European Gastof-style building began its life in the 1800s as the Golden Cross Pill Factory.

Is she pretty? Not really.

Is she awesome? Yep!

Great bones, lots of wood, beautiful features – mixed in with some quirky design decisions from the past and last few years.

Thanks to a competition run by the Bundanoon History Group, it’s been voted Bundanoon’s favourite building - we are so thankful to have been recognised and are feeling so proud of our big old gal!

There are three things that really make The Pill Factory stand out.

One

Its unique history and look… yes it actually was a pill factory.

Two

The ability to house your nearest and dearest under one roof... imagine, no one has to drive!

Three

There are enough separate spaces for people to spread out and come together.

The Pill Factory sleeps 36 people (check out our floor plans). There are five bathrooms (three with claw foot baths), 14 bedrooms, a BBQ area, a sitting room with fireplace, a family room with fireplace, a lawn to chuck down a picnic rug, free WiFi and firewood plus plenty of parking.

There is a well equipped kitchen with all the standard utensils, platters, plates, bowls etc. Great for catering for a large crowd or hungry family.

Our long dining room comfortably seats 36 across a vast length of tables (delightfully intimate and photogenic).

We have a full commercial bar area that is home to wine glasses, champagne flutes, under bar fridges, dart board, pool table, plug in speaker and chesterfield lounges.

This is where most people end up... dancing, singing, competing.

We also have a cool, spacious attic level with a projector, screen and lots of couch space. It’s a great chill out zone for the group or for the kids to watch movies.

It’s also a wonderful space for people to do speeches or host yoga sessions. We may even have seen footage of ‘The Village People’s YMCA’ being performed up there for a rather special 50th birthday celebration...

"I like large parties. They're so intimate. At small parties there isn't any privacy."
